Obama Economic Adviser: Poor Job Numbers Because of Sequestration

According to Wynton Hall at Breitbart.com, Obama’s top economic adviser Alan B. Krueger, took to the White House blog to blame the sequester for Friday’s abysmal March jobs numbers:

“While the recovery was gaining traction before sequestration took effect, these arbitrary and unnecessary cuts to government services will be a headwind in the months to come, and will cut key investments in the Nation’s future competitiveness. The Congressional Budget Office has estimated that the sequester will reduce employment by 750,000 full-time equivalent jobs by the end of the year.”

Although Krueger scrambled to get this response to high unemployment numbers, even Jay Carney reluctantly conceded that sequestration was suggested initially by President Barack Hussein Obama in an interview with Brett Baier of Fox News.
