Angry Crowd Protests Pricey Visit By Pope Francis


The first day of Pope Francis’ Brazil visit on Monday was marked by clashes as Brazilian police dispersed hundreds of protesters with tear gas and water cannons.   The protesters were angry at the 53 million dollar cost of the visit of Francis, just weeks after massive protests were held across the country to denounce corruption and government waste.

Thousands protested the pricey visit of Pope Francis in Brazil that spent more than 53 millin dollars.
