What Does The Bible Say About The Future Of Gaza?

Shayn Roby’s Take: Indeed, reading today’s newspaper in the Middle East is almost like reading a play by play in the books of prophecy in God’s Holy Word. In Isaiah 17, the first verse, God’s Holy Word tells us: “See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins.” Modern day Syria looks as though it may be  in trouble as ISIS looks to overtake the Assad regime. There is no way of knowing if this is the conflict that was prophesied in the downfall of Damascus, but circumstances such as they are around the Middle East at least suggest that an end times scenario might indeed be just around the corner.
