What Does The Bible Say About The Future Of Gaza?

Shayn Roby’s Take: Indeed, reading today’s newspaper in the Middle East is almost like reading a play by play in the books of prophecy in God’s Holy Word. In Isaiah 17, the first verse, God’s Holy Word tells us: “See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins.” Modern day Syria looks as though it may be  in trouble as ISIS looks to overtake the Assad regime. There is no way of knowing if this is the conflict that was prophesied in the downfall of Damascus, but circumstances such as they are around the Middle East at least suggest that an end times scenario might indeed be just around the corner.

“Does it shock anyone that world events are now aligning more and more with the state of affairs that the ancient Hebrew prophets spoke of just prior to the return of Jesus? In pondering all of these things, we must all tremble.” Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch …

Revelation 16:15, “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”

By Joel Richardson, WND – “As the focus of the world is now fixed on the Gaza Strip, students of the Bible would do well to stop to consider what the ancient Hebrew prophets had to say about the future of this little piece of land. Let’s consider a few passages. First, according to the Scriptures, the return of Jesus and the subsequent judgment will largely revolve around what…

And, Meanwhile, the World Burns Down

Shayn Roby’s Take: Indeed, Barack Hussein Obama believes that the United States of America is responsible for a great deal of the world’s problems.  He has repeatedly poor mouthed America in the presence of other world leaders. Having said that, restoring America’s prosperity has very little to do with restoring military might. Isaiah 9:10 in the Holy Bible warns of impending judgement of Israel ( and now possibly America) if they did not repent of their wickedness. Barack Hussein Obama is a traitor in the White House, hands down. He does not embrace American values, and quite frankly is not of American birth.   However, even if a true Conservative were to be elected for the office of POTUS after 2016, the only way that the United States of America will ever return to former posterity will be through the majority of the nation returning to its knees in worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.   John 14: 6 in the Holy Bible tells us that Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” 2nd Chronicles 7: 14 also tells us, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Heeding  these scriptures from God’s Holy Word is America’s only way out. Even though some Christians may heed these warnings, America may yet fall, and if it does, followers of Jesus are going to get a taste of the persecution endured by other Christians throughout the globe who have served Christ at the risk of being imprisoned, tortured, or killed for their worship of our Lord and Savior.

We’ve got stories that Venezuela’s government is importing Cuban mercenaries to suppress revolution while the President of Ukraine has fled Kiev.  Elsewhere, Syria is still a blood bath, the Taliban are poised to return to power in Afghanistan five minutes after we leave and the war clouds continue to grow in the Asia-Pacific theater.

Just when do we start to get some of that “smart diplomacy” that Obama promised?

Here’s the thing – if you ever wondered what would happen if American power were removed from the scene, here ya go.  This is what a post-American world looks like.  To put it bluntly, as the smoke cleared over the radioactive rubble of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the world became peaceful only in so far as America prevented war.  Through nearly four years of global battle and at high cost in blood and treasure, the United States emerged in 1945 as both…

Reblogged from The Great I AM the Original Light via Isaiah 53: Jonathan Cahn summed up his speech at the 2012 Inaugural Prayer Breakfast when he said, “Without Truth, there is no love.” He then proceeded to lay down the Truth. He compared the plight of our nation to that of Israel when they rebelled against God. Israel received God’s judgment when they did not repent. Mr. Cahn explained that if we as a nation do not repent, then indeed the United States is likely to receive that same judgment from the Lord.

A&E suspends Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson; Katie Pavlich, others rip ‘crap’ decision

Shayn Roby’s Take: A&E continues the trend of media to try to muzzle those who proclaim God’s Holy Word as Truth. A&E added itself to list of those who would endeavor to unleash the wrath and judgement of Jehovah on our nation as they insist on defending the sin of homosexuality, which the Holy Bible clearly states is an abomination in the sight of the Lord.

East Jerusalem thorniest of issues ahead of peace talks 07/29/13  Zechariah 12:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

“Netanyahu has said Jerusalem — which Israel unified in the 1967 Six-Day War and claims as its capital — is the heart of the Jewish nation and will never be divided.Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas says there can be no agreement and no end to the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis without a Palestinian capital in East Jerusalem, home to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the last remnants of the Jews’ Second Temple and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.”Jerusalem will be a huge problem” to overcome for any final agreement, says Aaron David Miller, a former adviser on Arab-Israeli peace negotiations to Democratic and Republican secretaries of State. “Down the road, (talks) will fail if Jerusalem is not resolved.”

Unemployment Rates Rise in 90 Percent of US Cities 07/30/13 This was for the month of June but the bad news was reported during the time of this meeting. Remember, that June was officially “Gay Month” and this is part of the curse that hit during that month.

“Unemployment rates rose in nearly all large U.S. cities in June as college graduates and many of those still in school began searching for jobs. The Labor Department said Tuesday that unemployment rates rose in 347 large metro areas in June compared with the previous month. They fell in 12 and were unchanged in 13. In May, rates fell in 109 cities and rose in 243.”
