Shayn Roby’s Take: Pat Sajak’s “coming out” underscores the fact that the LGBT lobby should stop forcing their agenda on the rest of society.
In the last few days, the unjust (and then somewhat rectified) treatment of Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty by A & E for quoting what God’s Word says has been a part of every news cycle. Although the intent by most liberal media outlets was to get the juicy scoop on the Conservative Christian so that they could boost their ratings, what the frenzy accomplished was that a conversation about the values that the Bible teaches was a dinner table discussion throughout our nation. In his article at TCU Nation, Lloyd Marcus, chairman of the Conservative Campaign Committee, wrote of the Duck Dynasty patriarch, “Well meaning folks on our side have been criticizing Phil; his interpretation of scripture and so on. While such observations may or may not be true, there are a plethora of vicious left-wing pundits ripping Phil to threads with exaggerations, distortions and lies. Displaying manhood and backbone that has become rare in America, Phil courageously took a stand against political correctness for us; our principles and values. Therefore, I will not dare criticize him. I choose to view my Phil Robertson glass half full. Thanks again brother Phil. You are appreciated and respected more than you will ever know.”
The editor of ShaynRoby.com would like to express his gratitude to both Phil Robertson AND Lloyd Marcus. BOTH are taking a stand for what is righteous, just, and wholesome in America.
Shayn Roby’s Take: Saying ‘We should round up all the gays, send them to an island, and then nuke it until it glows.’ is an over the top statement if one is truly seeking to exemplify the love of Christ toward those that are lost. However, there’s absolutely no doubt about whether those insisting on continuing to live a homosexual lifestyle are intentionally defiant toward what God’s Holy Word tells us or not. If Chris Kluwe is being truthful about the comment Mike Priefer allegedly made about sending all the gays to an island and nuking it, then indeed the special teams coach is mean-spirited. However, Kluwe is still missing an important point. He (Kluwe) reports that Priefer said that the only Truth is Jesus Christ. Because the eternal fate of all sinners who do not acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus Christ will be that of eternal damnation in the lake of fire and infinite separation from God, that particular part of what Kluwe refers to as ‘intolerance’ is actually the exercise of religious freedom and an actual mandate from the Son of God to perform. The key is that such a conversation needs to be one that is delivered with wisdom and at a point where it does not appear to come from a position of ridicule and harassment, but out of a general concern for the death and pain that a sinful life causes. That means this conversation should have taken place in a situation where it was a one on one discussion rather than a public debate that may have been directly targeted at Kluwe. As far is ‘tolerance’ is concerned, Jesus told the prostitute to “Go and sin no more.” He DID NOT say, “Hang loose sister and swing low. Now go turn tricks and have an orgy to your heart’s desire.”
In an article posted to Deadspin entitled “I Was An NFL Player Until I Was Fired By Two Cowards And A Bigot,” former Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe alleges that he lost his job as Vikings punter because of his public support of gay marriage.
The article looks back at Kluwe’s 2012 season and alleged interactions he had with former head coach Leslie Frazier, general manager Rick Spielman, and special-teams coordinator Mike Priefer. Kluwe writes that Frazier and Spielman (the “cowards” from the article’s title) were made uncomfortable by his public support of gay marriage. Kluwe also states that Priefer, who Kluwe refers to as the “bigot,” was openly hostile to Kluwe about his support of gay rights, and Kluwe says he believes Priefer was the one directly responsible for him losing his job.
Kluwe says he is writing the article now to “make sure that Mike Priefer never holds…

Shayn Roby’s Take: GLAAD (Is that Gays, Lesbians, Allies of Annoying Democrats?) spokesperson Wilson Cruz has made false statements about Phil Robertson. Of course that should come as no surprise. An individual who already openly defies God’s laws is not going to bat an eyelash at telling a couple of lies about someone.
Shayn Roby’s Take: Phil Robertson said that WE ALL came from ONE MAN at Saddleback Church in Mission Viejo, CA in July. Perhaps this video will be disappointing to Jesse Jackson, as the evidence of where the heart of Phil Robertson lies renders the serial race-baiter to be a habitual troublemaker.
Recent verbal attacks on Phil Robertson have taken place from GLAAD, Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow PUSH Coalition, and other groups bent on causing civil unrest, unpalatable discourse, and general chaos. Anyone who takes the time to listen to the Duck Commander’s message given at Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church in Southern California this last July would realize that Jesse Jackson’s complaint is invalid and baseless. Mr. Robertson is the farthest thing from a racist. As usual, Jesse, like his counterpart Al Sharpton, is searching for something incendiary so that he can remain in the public eye. It’s not that Phil Robertson is racially insensitive, it’s that Jesse Jackson needs turmoil so that he feels relevant in his own mind.
