Shayn Roby’s Take: The United States must take care of its own babies. It must protect them and allow them to be born. By the same token, the sovereignty of the United States must be protected. That means amnesty must not occur. Those who are here illegally should be deported when it is discovered that they are undocumented, PERIOD.
Illegals – Democrats call ‘undocumented’ – are people here in the United States ILLEGALLY and is forcing every one of us to pony up the dough and look the other way. And for the record, all of my family were immigrants…and unless you are a Native American (and I’ve got a smidge of that, too), you are descendants of immigrants. And mine came here legally, without any entitlements or handouts.
Aborting unborn Buckeye citizens is the path of least resistance in the immigration war?
As I sift through liberal garbage that is passed off as journalism, I find these bits and pieces of news blab and put the puzzle pieces together to form what is the actual BIG PICTURE, not the one they want us to see. Liberals want us to see teary-eyed ‘undocumented’ immigrants that insist (not need) on our help to force more tax strains on legal citizens…
Congressmen Trey Gowdy and Jim Jordan appeared on the Hugh Hewitt show to discuss border security with regard to possible immigration reform legislation. Gowdy said,
“Number one, border security has to be unassailable, unimpeachable. Secondarily, internal security has to be unassailable, unimpeachable for the visa overstays. And thirdly, you’ve got to turn off the jobs magnet, which means you have to have some version of E-verify. And frankly, if you just have one without the other two, you’re probably not going to be able to win your argument, at least in my district.
Trey Gowdy pointed out that building 700 miles of fence is EXISTING LAW, and has yet to be completed, even though it was promised in 1986.
It is time for Tennesseans to say, “Enough!”. The Gang of Eight Senate Bill sold out America as a Third World country. It sought to grant amnesty to illegal aliens within our borders without establishing border security. It is for this reason that Tea Party patriots and other concerned citizens are justified in making sure that a quality conservative candidate emerges to challenge United States Senator Lamar Alexander in the upcoming primary preceding the 2014 mid-term elections.
Shayn Roby’s Take: The only immigration reform needed is to enforce the existing immigration laws. The border needs to be secure, PERIOD. Any bill that resembles amnesty will only encourage a repeat of 1986. Thirty years from now, the border STILL will not be secured, and amnesty will be called for AGAIN. Stop it NOW. The House must stand up to these treasonous liberals and RINOS who both have the desire to sell out the United States to the point that it becomes a Third World country.
Some Senate Gang of Eight members are ratcheting up the pressure on House Republicans, by enlisting the support of companies, conservative, and nonprofit groups in an effort to target a list of 129 congressmen who may be willing to vote for a comprehensive immigration-overhaul bill.
Last night on Fox News’ Hannity, columnist Michelle Malkin reminded lawmakers on Capitol Hill that border security isn’t conditional on anything and should have been done a long time ago regardless of how many people are in the country illegally.
“We have to get rid of this platitude of border security first. As I have said many times, it’s border security, period,” she said. “It’s not a means to an end, it is the end. It is the basic core function of government.”
GOP reaching out to Dems on immigration. One of the chief problems as usual, is the use of buzzwords. “Immigration reform” means different things to different people. Most conservatives believe in immigration reform all right. However, they recognize that the reform that is needed is an increased dedication to enforcing immigration laws that are already on the books. One only has to look at what has happened in Arizona, where the Department of Justice sued the state of Arizona for enforcing federal law, yet refuses to enforce federal immigration law in most cases. The reason for adopting this stance is one that is geared toward embracing more potential voters into the fold of the Democratic Party, where illegal aliens are not viewed as felons, but as “unregistered Democrats”.
