Obamacare is a ticking time bomb for Democrats in the 2014 elections. Nobody knows this better than President Barack Obama, which is why over the Fourth of July holiday weekend he unilaterally decided to delay its controversial employer mandate provision until after the midterm elections.

Shayn Roby’s Take: Barack Obama repeatedly says that this is a “do-nothing” Congress. Once again they “did something”. The problem is that the “something” that they did runs against his (Red Barry Obama’s) Marxist values.
House Panel: We Need Answers from Treasury on Decision to Suspend Obamacare’s Employer Mandate | CNS News. No explanation will be forthcoming. It’s quite obvious to the casual observer that waiting for the employer mandate to kick in is politically motivated and tyrannical in nature. Implementation of the mandate will be so devastating to the American economy that if businesses have compliance in place before the 2014 mid-term election, massive layoffs will take place. This would result in even some of the lowest of low information voters switching their affiliation to either a third party or the Republican party.
Dear GOP: Don’t Get Cute With This | RedState. Americans sent Republicans to Washington to end Obamacare, not mend it. If Obama wants to unilaterally exempt employers, let the employers suddenly start pushing Americans off to health care exchanges and watch as Americans become enraged — suffering a government run exchange and an individual mandate.
But Won’t People Die? | RedState. Yes, but they won’t die just before the mid-term elections.
