Nine SEC Teams in 2013 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament

Nine SEC teams were invited to participate in the 2013 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.  Vanderbilt, LSU, South Carolina, and Mississippi State were all selected to host regionals.  The Ole Miss Rebels will have to travel to the Raleigh Regional and probably eventually face the North Carolina State Wolfpack.  SEC newcomer Texas A&M barely made the field and will travel to Corvallis, Oregon and will in all likelihood have an eventual looming matchup against the Oregon State Beavers.  The Arkansas Razorbacks will have to brave the perils of The Little Apple as they travel to Manhattan, Kansas and will likely have to face the Kansas State Wildcats in order to make it to Super-regional play.  The Alabama Crimson Tide will probably have to beat the Florida State Seminoles to make it out of Tallahassee, and the Florida Gators will have to defeat the Illini in Champaign, Illinois to move on to Super-Regional play.

Vanderbilt Commodores

The Vanderbilt Commodores received the #2 overall seed and will host East Tennessee St., Georgia Tech, and Illinois at the Nashville Regional of the 2013 NCAA Baseball Tournament.
