Abstain from sexual immorality

Shayn Roby’s Take:  God’s Holy Word tells us that any sexual relations outside those of marriage are sinful. However, God’s grace and the power of the Holy Spirit enables us to follow what his Holy Word and Righteousness demands.

Wbmoore's Biblical Insights

This was an interesting passage I ran across recently.

1 Thessalonians 4:1-8

Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do walk), that you excel still more. For you know what commandments we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immoralitythat each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God; and that no man transgress and defraud his brother in the matter because the Lord is the avenger in all these things, just as we also told you before and solemnly warned youFor God has not called us for the purpose of impurity, but in sanctification.

Pope Francis says he won’t judge gay priests

Shayn Roby’s Take: The Word of God condemns the acts committed by homosexuals, just as it condemns sexual relations between people of the opposite gender who are not married.  In order to receive forgiveness, repentance from that sin is required.  Pope Francis said that we do not have the right to ‘not forget’ if someone has confessed.  None of us has the right to judge another human being.  Neither are we absolved from pointing out what God’s Holy Word says when someone makes it blatantly obvious that they are indulging in activity that is contrary to what it commands.

Pope Francis reached out to gays on Monday, saying he wouldn’t judge priests for their sexual orientation in a remarkably open and wide-ranging news conference as he returned from his first foreign trip.

“If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?” Francis asked.

His predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI, signed a document in 2005 that said men with deep-rooted homosexual tendencies should not be priests. Francis was much more conciliatory, saying gay clergymen should be forgiven and their sins forgotten.

Francis’ remarks came Monday during a plane journey back to the Vatican from his first foreign trip in Brazil.

He was funny and candid during a news conference that lasted almost an hour and a half. He didn’t dodge a single question, even thanking the journalist who raised allegations reported by an Italian…

Virginia Lieutenant Governor Candidate E.W. Jackson Blasted By The Left for Standing Up for Christian Values

Virginia Lieutenant Governor Candidate E.W. Jackson Blasted By The Left for Standing Up for Christian Values.  Usual “bigot” claims hurled by the New York Times at American patriot.

Virginia Lieutenat Governor Candidate E.W. Jackson Blasted By The Left for Standing Up for Christian Values

Reverend E.W. Jackson is running for Lieutenant Governor in the state of Virginia.  He has strongly supported family values, the free market, and the first civil right:  The right to life.  He has been characterized by left wing media nuts at the New York Times who wanted to chastise his comparison of Planned Parenthood to the Ku Klux Klan.  Of course this is an inconvenient truth that liberals can’t stand to hear voiced, that Planned Parenthood has killed more minority children than the KKK could ever hope to kill.  It is also packed with irony that libs would find this statement offensive, being that almost all members of the Ku Klux Klan were DEMOCRATS, the very party that most liberals support today.   With regard to the LGBT agenda supported by the left, those liberals who actually believe in God (a very small number indeed) must find it a rather inconvenient truth (in honor of liberal hypocrite and moronic fake global warming pushing charlatan Al “Jazeera” Gore) to their political stances when reading the book of Romans in God’s Holy Word.  Romans 1:24-32 tells us:

1:24 Therefore God gave them over 48  in the desires of their hearts to impurity, to dishonor 49  their bodies among themselves. 50  1:25 They 51  exchanged the truth of God for a lie 52  and worshiped and served the creation 53  rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

1:26 For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged the natural sexual relations for unnatural ones, 54  1:27 and likewise the men also abandoned natural relations with women 55  and were inflamed in their passions 56  for one another. Men 57  committed shameless acts with men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

1:28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, 58  God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what should not be done. 59  1:29 They are filled 60  with every kind of unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, malice. They are rife with 61  envy, murder, strife, deceit, hostility. They are gossips, 1:30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, contrivers of all sorts of evil, disobedient to parents, 1:31 senseless, covenant-breakers, 62  heartless, ruthless. 1:32 Although they fully know 63  God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, 64  they not only do them but also approve of those who practice them. 65

Adrian Peterson not a believer in same-sex marriage

Many on the left have criticized Mr. Peterson for his comments about same sex marriage. The “outrage” by so-called “progressives” is not surprising. They make a habit of ignoring what God’s Holy Word says about sexual relations between two individuals of the same gender in Romans 1: 24-32. 24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

Students Want Anti-Gay Priest Removed from University – Todd Starnes | TownHall.com

Todd Starnes reports on how merely following what the Holy Bible says in Romans 1: 24-32 resulted in a priest having to worry about keeping his university post. http://m.townhall.com/columnists/toddstarnes/2013/04/05/students-want-antigay-priest-removed-from-university-n1559063?utm_source=thdaily&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl

As a Christian, I will stand by Cliff Kincaid. If Conservative Christians follow what the Holy Bible says in Romans 1: 24-32, then there absolutely, positively is no such thing as a gay conservative. It’s like smoking “Christian crack”. It’s an oxymoron.  I have been on the record as writing a similar article.  S.E. Cupp, a self-professed atheist threatened to boycott CPAC.  The whole time I’m thinking, “Gosh isn’t it horrible that the Godless atheists are chased away from a conservative meeting because the Christians chose to follow God’s laws?”  Go figure.
