OMAHA, Neb. – Mississippi State head baseball coach John Cohen and team co-captains Kendall Graveman and Wes Rea spoke with the media Sunday to discuss the upcoming College World Series Finals against UCLA.

State, 3-0 thus far in the CWS, will meet UCLA, also 3-0, in the 2013 NCAA CWS Championship Series, which begins Monday at TD Ameritrade Park. The series continues Tuesday and Wednesday (if necessary). All games will begin at 7 p.m. CT, and will be broadcast on ESPN.

UCLA Beats UNC 4-1: Faces Mississippi State in College World Series Championship


The UCLA Bruins defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels 4-1 to advance to the championship round of the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.

Sophomore pitcher Grant Watson earned the win for the Bruins, throwing six shutout innings while striking out three.
