God said, “Be fruitful and multiply.”  How are you multiplying if you’re — I’m not saying a bad word — but it says homosexual.  If you’re a homosexual, it’s wrong.  Seek help.  It’s like a drug condition. It’s just wrong.  There’s help to be got. People, there really is!

It’s about Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

Supreme Court Rejects Request To Stop Same-Sex Marriages

Shayn Roby’s Take:  Perhaps the next move for those who follow God’s Holy Word in California is to file a civil suit against Governor Jerry Brown and Kamela Harris for refusing to defend Proposition Eight in Supreme Court arguments. It is the duty of state officials to enforce and defend existing state law. The result of Brown and Harris refusing to defend state law was a judgement for the plaintiff. The Supreme Court would not grant private citizens standing in the case, even though the Governor and Attorney General of California refused to acknowledge the will of the people in the state and should both be impeached for it.

Franklin Graham: No One Is Entitled to Rearrange God’s Divine Order.

Shayn Roby’s Take:  As Christians, we are tasked with loving the sinner. Part of loving the sinner is pointing out that they are indeed sinning against God. Failure to make them aware that their actions run contrary to God’s Holy Word means that person is left to deal with the consequences of his or her sin. Judgement of the individual has not taken place, only the act has been condemned. Jesus died for our sins, but forgiveness for those sins must still be asked for in sincere repentance. Repentance is necessary in order for forgiveness to take place, just as eating food is necessary for sustenance. Leaving food on the table without bothering to take a fork or spoon in hand and putting the food in the mouth will not result in nourishment to the body taking place. Failure to ask for forgiveness and stop committing the sin, is failure to accept the wonderful gift that Jesus offered. Continuing to live in a homosexual lifestyle is doing just that, no matter what the Supreme Court says about the legality of their marriage and their eligibility for federal benefits.  Continued defiance of God and insistence on continuing a sinful lifestyle makes one eligible for eternity in Hell.  That is one consequence over which the Supreme Court of the United States gets absolutely no say.

High Court Clears Way for Same-Sex Marriage in California

A perplexing vote gave a 5-4 decision for striking down Proposition Eight in California as unconstitutional. Justices Scalia and Roberts sided with Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Elena Kagan in striking down the Proposition that was approved by California voters. Justice Kennedy, usually the swing vote, voted conservative with Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito. The extreme surprise conservative vote came from Sonia Sotomayor, who usually sides with the liberal voters on the court.  The celebrations by gays and lesbians will no doubt soon be followed by oncoming disaster as such behavior is an abomination in the sight of God according to His Holy Word, The Bible.

Supreme Court Strikes Down Heterosexual-Only Marriage As Unconstitutional

Unfortunately it gets worse. According to KTLA5 in Los Angeles, the Supreme Court decision paved the way for gay marriages to resume in California, ruling the private sponsors of Proposition 8 did not have legal standing to appeal after the ballot measure was struck down by a federal judge in San Francisco. The editor of ShaynRoby.com fears that California and the United States of America have now had the hedge of protection removed from around its people. The onslaught of the Assyrians may indeed proceed as it did on September 11, 2001 and as it did against Israel more than 2,500 years ago as recorded in the book of Isaiah in God’s Holy Word.

Adrian Peterson not a believer in same-sex marriage

Many on the left have criticized Mr. Peterson for his comments about same sex marriage. The “outrage” by so-called “progressives” is not surprising. They make a habit of ignoring what God’s Holy Word says about sexual relations between two individuals of the same gender in Romans 1: 24-32. 24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice.
